Milko (1963) has always been attracted by the fascinating intersection of marketing, design and integrated communications. After starting his career in interior and graphic design, he quickly moved on to work for several local 'Dutch Design' and marcom agencies as well as international creative agencies, giving him unique insights into the challenges and constraints faced by blue-chip international customers – and ways to overcome them.
As from the 90s, Milko became very involved in the area of brand strategy coupled with integrated offline and online communications. As a senior consultant, he was responsible for a large variety of clients (B2C and B2B), including award-winning branding projects for the life science companies OPG and Byk.
At Across Health, he focusses on supporting clients in developing and implementing a fully integrated multichannel marketing strategy aligned with the new business model in life sciences, while also identifying and prioritizing key “fusion” tactics and measuring their impact. All based on sharp analytics and in partnership with clients.
Milko graduated in marketing management from the Amsterdam Business School. He also received extensive training on consultative partnerships, executive performance training, strategic brand consultancy and account management.
Living in Amsterdam, Milko spends most of his free time with his wife and two daughters, enjoying the city and trips abroad.
